Nathan Johnson is a Nashville-based producer by way of New York City, where he opened Red Door Studio in 2008, followed by DRIFT, a production studio and event space on the High Line in West Chelsea. DRIFT enjoyed a wildly popular 10-year run, with clients ranging from Vogue, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, AMEX, H&M, and Louboutin. In 2015, he co-founded a digital fashion magazine that was acquired by TodayTix, where he served as Creative Director. As a photographer, Nathan’s work has been featured in numerous Broadway advertising and PR campaigns, capturing some of the most recognizable faces in the entertainment industry.

Since relocating to Nashville, Nathan created Stagecraft, a digital course committed to equipping the next generation of stage-artists and preparing them for wholistic success. They also launched Rebel Rocket Entertainment, focusing on producing compelling stories that capture the spirit of the heartland and reflect its enduring values. His producing credits include the feature film American Reject; TV pilot Avenues (optioned by Lionsgate); Hotel Al (PBS); Faithwalkers series (QAVA TV); A Wonderful Day with Mabel MaClay (20 episodes for Bentkey/Daily Wire); and multiple award-winning shorts. He is currently in post-production on four projects slated for release in 2026.
